If you are planning a Eastern Europe city break one of the most interesting and entertaining cities would probably be Prague. March offers many possibilities to spend a few days off in a cultural environment still rich in tradition. This year Easter comes quite early and exactly from 21-24 March so that X-Mas holiday memories are still fresh.

As Easter in Prague is a special time most of the city's attractions like opera house, theatres, pubs, restaurants and other entertainment operate every day are open throughout. In particular over the Easter weekend, whilst some shops and restaurants may be closed on Easter Monday. In any case, from the 8th until the 30th of March 2008 Prague features its famous and world attractive Easter Markets.

They open daily and offer many handcrafted goods, including wooden toys, traditional dolls and puppets, typical bohemian crystal and jewellery, and of course, everything related to the Easter Season. In fact, you won't miss the brightly coloured, hand-painted Easter eggs and the pastel-colour candles to bring to your friends or decorate your home.

It is possible to purchase Easter Egg and ask for personalized decorations on it. We got a nice bunny with a name of our friend on it. On Easter Sunday in particular, girls and women especially in the surrounding villages paint eggs in many personal variations. A mixture of watercolours, picture stickers, bee's wax, straw and/or feathers can be used. Prague also hosts an Easter egg contest annually where girls paint their Easter eggs whilst boys prepare their Easter whips for Easter Monday.

Visitors may see examples of these Easter whips in the Prague Markets that, as well as the Christmas Markets in Prague, spread their 100 and more stalls all over from the Old Town Square to Wenceslas Square. Czech ladies also dress up in traditional costumes and will be a perfect subject for your pictures!! For men following their wives felt a prey to Easter shopping, there will be a vast range of food and drink, from hot sausages to ice-cold Pilsner beer.

The official Prague beer! Although terribly unhealthy, tasty yummy barbecued sausages or roasting pigs and chips will probably be your treat!! There are many other attractions in Prague: the Jewish ghetto can represent also the religious Prague tour while there for Easter. Consider it's high season for Prague as the city is quite well renown for its Easter markets and it's the perfect period to go. So consider to find your accommodation in advance. In particular, there are multitudes of youth hostels spreading all over although not always their standards are comparable to the Europeans.

Nevertheless prices are very good and now they are all run by young people offering all comforts and services backpackers might need as internet connections, common rooms, kitchen. Some also offer swimming pool and sauna. But if you are travelling with family or in a small group you can also consider the comfort of having a private apartment in Prague to share: that can allow you total privacy and relevant costs cut off!

Information on characteristics of bacteria can be found at the Knowledge Galaxy site.

Article Source: http://www.articledashboard.com/Article/Finding-Easter-Markets-In-Prague/1509695

free dating online

Day by day the power of the internet is increasing, not only allowing consumers access to more products and services than ever before, but also higher savings and a host of incredible offers that customers can only dream of finding in-store.

But with so many online outlets to choose from, internet shopping - although without the high street headaches, can often be a complex and mind boggling exercise. Even when you are sure of what you are looking for, knowing where to start to find the perfect purchase at the best price, can often seem like finding a needle in a haystack.

Enter the era of price comparison web sites, the ultimate companion for a truly enjoyable online shopping experience. But it’s not just the well known financial and travel web sites that now offer consumers a helping hand in their quest to bag the best deals. No, such sites even exist to help find super savings on your everyday items like bread and milk, to treats and tipples like fantastic online wine offers.

Research suggests that more and more people are recognising the benefits of online wine buying, taking away the sting of having to spend their precious time fighting their way around the busy supermarket aisles, finding some pleasing purchases both to the wallet and the pallet.

In fact, the number of people taking advantage of the internet to seek out the best online wine offers is constantly increasing, with the market for on line wine purchased growing by 24% in 2007.

Like their financial and travel counterparts, wine orientated price comparison sites scour all the wine retailers on the web and search out the most appealing online wine offers around. What’s more as well as helping you save pennies, most online wine dealers also provide a more detailed, understandable and valuable description of your potential purchase, to make sure you buy a bottle where the taste is as good as the price.

Not only do these sites help you find out more about the wine you are buying, but by posting tips and tasting notes, they also guide you to help you find the type of wine you like and should look out for more often, meaning no more wasting time debating if the now £3.99 bottle of red really was worth £9 in the first place, and more time enjoying it.

What’s more you don’t just have to take the web sites word for it. Even if you think the online wine offers you find might just be the product of a mix of marketing partnerships, many sites also have their own forums - allowing you to read comments and talk to other customers to get a true insight into which online wine offers really will taste as good as the prices can makes you feel.

Fiona Muller has been writing for over 20 years. She is a qualified journalist and has worked in food and drink writing for the last few years.
Food and drink have become a major part of most people's lives, in particular their social lives. In fact the phrase 'food and drink' produces over 89 million hits on the Google website. Excessiveness in either is of course unhealthy, but perhaps this is one of the reasons why people see good food or good wine as something special, something to treat themselves with.

Guides to good food, wine and restaurants have become big business. Egon Ronay's 'Guide to the Best Restaurants and Gastropubs in the UK' which provides detailed reviews of over 500 restaurants and gastropubs has sold over 2 million copies. Its simple to compare style of awarding up to three stars to each restaurant is clearly a hit with readers.

'The Good Food Guide' edited by Elizabeth Carter sells itself as Britain's leading restaurant guide and is currently in it 56th edition, detailing over 1,500 eateries from gastropubs to high end dining.

Fine wine guides are also a big seller, with books such as Clarke's 'Fine Wine Guide: A Connoisseur's Bible' and Johnson-Bell's 'Good Food, Fine Wine: A Practical Guide to Finding the Perfect Match' both readily available on the internet it is clear that there is a high demand for such guides.

This is not surprising as the United Kingdom is the second largest importer of wine in the world. Wine sales in the UK increased 25% between 2001 and 2005. In 2004 the estimated wine consumption was 1.2 billion litres. In particular there has been an increase in the consumption of so-called New World wines, for example those from Australia or the USA instead of traditional producers such as France. California now produces 2 billion litres of wine every year, making it the fourth biggest producer behind Italy, France and Spain. In 2004, New World wines accounted for over 55% of total consumption in the UK.

Exports of Australian wines have more than quadrupled in the last decade to reach nearly 800 million litres in 2006, 22% of which went onto the UK market, approximately 176 million litres.

Exports of New Zealand wines to the UK alone have increased from 8.1 million litres in 1997 to 21.9 million litres in 2006.

One factor in the explanation of this is an increase in the availability of fine wine in many supermarkets. Some figures place two-thirds of UK wines sales in supermarkets. Increased demand and competition between large chain supermarkets have increased the variety of wines and producers and made them more accessible to the general public.

A recent report by Vinexpo has predicted that the UK will become Europe's biggest market for wine by 2010. The report which examined the worlds wine producers and consumers also predicted that by 2010 the UK wine sales would be worth £5.5 billion, despite the fact that the UK paid the highest average price per bottle (£3.11), which is equivalent to 28.5 litres per capita compared to an average of 27 litres between 2001 and 2005.

The report also showed that between 2001 and 2005 Australia had overtaken France as the UK's biggest supplier with imports rising 51%. Imports from countries such as the USA and South Africa have also risen during this period which highlights the trend toward New World wines.

To learn about carrot allergy and carrot tanning oil, visit the Benefits Of Carrots website.

Article Source: http://www.articledashboard.com/Article/Food-Is-A-Major-Part-Of-A-Person's-Life/1476260

free dating online

Food and drink is the second largest manufacturing sector in London. It is also the manufacturing sector which has performed the best in the capital over the last five years. West London Business says that 10 per cent of all London jobs are linked to the food and drink sector in some way.

According to a mapping study of the capital's food and drink production industry funded by the European Union, there are 870 businesses in London's food and drink supply chain with a total estimated turnover of £3.3 billion. The same research also suggested that 94 per cent of the businesses in the sector are small and medium-sized enterprises with a turnover of less than £1 million each.

There are thousands of restaurants in the capital and thousands of food and drink outlets. West London Business estimates that eating out contributes £8 billion a year to London's economy.

Different parts of London are famous for different kinds of food and drink.

West London has been a magnet for businesses in the food and drink sector for 80 years. According to West London Business, the local chamber of commerce, the sector employs 15,000 people in the area. There are 140 businesses involved in the food industry on the Park Royal Industrial Estate alone, employing 6,000 people. One of these is the recently opened Park Royal Food Innovation Centre, which supports the development of London's small and medium-sized food and drink enterprises.

Sugar production has a long tradition in East London. Today, Tate & Lyle, with its Silvertown works, is the only cane sugar refiner in the UK. East London also has a strong brewing tradition. The Black Eagle brewery at 91 Brick Lane produced beer until 1989, the Albion brewery until 1959 and the Anchor Brewery in Mile End road until 1975. These days, East London is better known for its curry restaurants, particularly along Brick Lane.

North London is the chosen location for many small businesses active in food and drink processing. Enfield provides the home for London's only flour mill, G. R. Wright & Sons, at Ponders End. North London Business, the local chamber of commerce, helps small and medium-sized enterprises in the area to network, meet new contacts and do business with each other through North London Food Linx.

South London is the base for a number of innovative businesses, such as Lambeth-based Today Was Fun, a supplier of organic teas. The company, founded by Sharyn Wortman, increased its international sales approximately ten-fold between 2005 and the end of 2007 and won the Best Newcomer award in UK Trade & Investment's 2008 London Passport to Export Awards.

London Mayor Boris Johnson recently called on food businesses in London to step up efforts to reduce their carbon footprint. This followed the publication of a report commissioned by the Greater London Authority and the London Development Agency that found Londoners' eating habits to be responsible for more greenhouse gases each year than the entire national output of Estonia.

The sector is responding. The vast majority of London's food and drink production companies service local retailers and food services. Only a small proportion supply national retailers. One 'green' food business is Lambeth-based Today Was Fun, whose green tea was the first carbon neutral tea. That's according to the CarbonNeutral Company, which carries out a simple calculation to establish how much carbon is produced in making and transporting the tea. The business neutralises its impact on the environment by buying carbon credits to cover emissions.

Part of the aim of the Park Royal Food Innovation Centre in West London is to promote sustainable local food and drink production. The centre, which opened in October 2009, acts as a hub for food processing companies in London, helping them to achieve growth by providing a range of specialist services which will encourage them to innovate in terms of new products, processes, packaging, healthy eating and sustainability.

Saving water is a big issue for London's food and drink businesses. According to the Food and Drink Federation (FDF), the UK food and drink industry takes 430,000 cubic metres from the public water supply every day, accounting for approximately 10 per cent of all industrial use. It also takes about a tenth of all water abstracted from rivers and other water courses. This amounts to another 260,000 cubic metres a day.

Jenny Reed is a freelance researcher who is currently starting a business and seeking out business advice online.

Article Source: http://www.articledashboard.com/Article/London’s-Food-and-Drink-Industry/1366670

free dating online

Brandy and Cognac are traditionally associated with after dinner drinks or for having a quick snifter of when going out hunting or on a brisk walk. Brandy was also seen as being medicinal in the past because of its warming qualities – think St Bernard dogs finding victims of avalanches. In fact it is a drink that has lots of past associations but of late has had a bit of a development in its image. Brandy and Cognac in fact were going through a drought – whisky was the drink to be seen with and Cognac producers in France were destroying their vines because their product was just not selling. However this has all changed now. Brandy and Cognac, especially the more expensive label cognac, are now associated with rap stars. It has been assimilated into black music by the likes of Busta Rhymes and Jay-Z. Brandy or Cognac is often name checked in songs such as Busta Rhymes's raunchy "Pass the Courvoisier". The drink rivals sex, drugs and guns as a staple subject for rap lyrics and titles. Hennessy seems to be the drink of choice but all the other brand names get a mention too. The best cognacs are also particularly prized today, by an even more unlikely clientele, the clientele of the nightclubs of Moscow.

In fact cognac sales in America increased 6.7 per cent last year. They have trebled in 10 years and now account for 36 per cent of all world sales. After years of decline, cognac is also booming in urban France, where the young drink it long with tonic or mineral water.

So what is Cognac and what is the difference between Brandy and Cognac?

Cognac is a type of brandy – it is called cognac due to the region of France where it originates but has to go through a host of processes before it can actually be called by the name cognac.

Brandy is made by distilling wine. The wine that is used for the production of brandy is acidic thin wine which goes through a double distilling process – the resulting spirit is colourless ans has an alcohol contact of about 70%.

Brandy was originally known as Brandywine and it can be made from grapes or other fruits – think apricot or cherry brandy. The colour of the brandy id usually made by either aging the spirit in casks or by adding a colourant to imitate the process.

Cognac however is a different beast – produced by a simialr process it can’t be sold or even called cognac until it has been aged for two years. The cognac is produuced by blending different mixtures of the aged spirit and the age of the final product depends on the age of the youngest distillate that has been used in the mixture.

Fiona Muller has been writing for over 20 years. She is a qualified journalist and has worked in food and drink writing for the last few years.
Got some weight issue?

Then one of the problems you have is not controlling your calorie intake, to have great body you must have a balance in and out of calorie. To get calorie out, it is clear that you have to exercise so the fat could be burned into sweat. To burn about 400-500 calorie you would need to run 4 miles and about 40 minute. So to make a balance in calorie you need to know how many calorie intake you take every day…

To measure how many calorie intakes is not an easy task, you need to make a list of the food and drink you eat every single day. Now to make it easier, I recommend that you only make the list of food and drink you are generally eat. So the sketch of your daily food and drink should do enough. Example: my daily calorie intake, I eat 4 times a day. Breakfast that I have is generally 2 boiled egg (77 cal each slice), orange juice (110 cal 1 cup) and 2 bread (172 cal per piece’s). This breakfast would give me a calorie intake about 650 calorie. At lunch hour I usually eat 3 slice of meat lover pizza (500 cal each slice), with a soda diet (0 cal 1 can). At noon I usually take a quick snack at the caf?ear my office which I would generally eat 1 croissant (250 cal) and 1 glass of coffee (2.5 cal), and dinner I would usually eat sirloin meat (200 cal) and glass of water (0 cal). So the total intake I would have is about 2500 which is the average normal guy calorie intake. How much calorie do you generally eat everyday?

The average woman would have a calorie intake about 2000 calorie per day and average guy would have a calorie intake about 2500 calorie per day. If you take more calorie than the average then you know that to reduce 500 calorie you would need 40 minute and 4 mil run.

To check the calorie in the food you generally use calorieconnect.com (see resource box)

Most people that has weight problem has the calorie intake range about 3000-5000 calorie intake a day, now those who have problem with this, it would be hard to have the average calorie intake. I would suggest slimming pills to help you in controlling average calorie intake.

Slimming pills have a various effect in helping you controlling your calorie; these are the effect you might want to take (Fat binder and appetite suppressant)

Fat binder could bind the excess fat out from your food, which mean in the body the excess fat would not be absorbed. This would make you more reduce fat in your body.

Appetite suppressant could take away your appetite, it work by fooling you mind thinking that you are full which you are not.

From the example above I took diet soda as my meal companion but this is the wrong move if I say, soda has it part in the people obesity. And diet soda wouldn’t help either, because recent study shown that those who take diet soda is in risk of being obesity than those who drink regular soda.

For more info on the diet soda and obesity, click the resource box

The best way to avoid this is not to take soda drink as your meal companion, use juice instead.

resource: Diet soda make you gain more weight - Check calorie in food

Article Source: http://www.articledashboard.com/Article/How-to-control-calorie-intake.../675648

free dating online

The overwhelming majority of people who eat out also have a drink or two (or more!) with their meals. They may have fruit juice or a carbonated drink, or they may have alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine or spirits. No matter what your customers’ chosen tipples are, as the owner of a restaurant you will need good quality bar facilities. This will include items such as glasses, spirit dispensers, wine coolers, and other essential items, one of which is the ice maker. No matter what the time of year, people of all ages like to have cold beverages, and adding ice makes for a thoroughly refreshing drink.

Ice is suited to a number of uses in the catering environment, in buckets for cooling wines and even for the presentation of some foods. Some catering businesses gain a lot of business from their bars, and as such it is an important area to maintain correctly. Having a wide selection of different drinks available is extremely important, including spirits such as vodka, gin and whisky, alco-pops and a variety of wines as well as some champagne. As consumers become more environmentally aware there is an upsurge of interest in locally sourced food and drink, and many license holders sell a number of local ales and ciders as well as more commonly known brands. This not only appeals to those who wish to be ‘greener’, but also to a sense of pride in local heritage and community. When it comes to non alcoholic drinks, a variety of both fizzy and flat is a good idea, some prefer water, fruit juice or squash, others like lemonade or coke. For the health conscious, there are usually low sugar or diet versions of drinks available. Not only are these drinks great on their own with some ice fresh from the ice maker, they serve as good mixers for a number of spirits.

Having polite, well trained bar staff is as important as having waiting staff with these qualities. For pubs and clubs which do not serve food, the attitude and approachability of bar staff is possibly even more important – they are often the only members of the team that customers get to see. Having what customers want is vital in any business, and as those who like a drink often like to have ice in it, there are a number of ice makers available on the market. The manufacturers of these machines are aware of the needs of those who own pubs clubs and restaurants, and provide models with a variety of capacities, which are designed to be easy to use and to take up as small as space as possible. Hygiene is a crucial matter when making ice, so many ice makers are designed with ease of cleaning in mind. As with any piece of kitchen equipment, if you are uncertain about which ice maker is best for you, contact either a manufacturer or retailer who should be happy to advise you in your choice.

Welcome to Nisbets - the UK's largest supplier of catering equipment with 25 years experience in the industry. For further information regarding our range of ice makers, please visit our website at http://www.nisbets.co.uk

Article Source: http://www.articledashboard.com/Article/Refreshment-made-easy/1097030

free dating online

How many times have you heard about the Hidden Laws of Attraction and The Secrets of Deliberate Creation, but still never found out what they are? The truth of the matter is that the Laws of Attraction are always at work, but no one ever really breaks the laws down so that they make sense.

There are 11 Primary Hidden Laws of Attraction and the first 6 of those laws are the Secret of Deliberate Creation. Let’s look at the first 6 Laws one at a time and I’ll give you some tips on how to get them working for you now. The 5 remaining laws are The Secret to Continued Deliberate Creation which I’ll discuss in the next article.

1st Hidden Law of Attraction: Law of Vibration

Your energy vibration level attracts similar levels of vibration. What state are you in; positive or negative? Change your state and change what you attract.

2nd Hidden Law of Attraction: Law of Intention

If you don’t know what you want you won’t attract anything specific. Do you know what you want? Get specific, write it down, what does it feel like, look like etc. Use all of your senses, surround yourself with images.

3rd Hidden Law of Attraction: Law of Purpose

It isn’t enough to know what you want; you have to know why you want it. What is the purpose for the things you want? What will the things you desire do for you, your friends and loved ones, the world? Knowing what you want is your vision, knowing why is what fuels your vision.

4th Hidden Law of Attraction: Law of Singular Focus

You must have singular focus. If the ultimate vision of what you want involves many steps, what is the first step? Identify the first step and make that your singular focus. Once you have achieved that goal, refocus to the next step and so on. When you go into a restaurant, you look at the menu and decide what you want to order. You order your drink and then your appetizer, then your main course and then the dessert. Once you have placed your order you don’t keep calling the waiter back and changing what you want…if you did that you would never get any food. It is the same with creating the life you desire.

5th Hidden Law of Attraction: Law of Inspired Action

Once you are clear on what you want, why you want it and have your singular focus, and then it is time for action. This is important, you don’t want to take just any action; you want to take inspired action. Most people start with action and then try to figure out what they want. That’s the absolute reverse of how it works…you will know what the right action is when you have taken the time with the first 4 hidden laws of attraction, then you have to take that inspired action. The idea that the law of attraction means that you just sit around and think about what you want and it comes to you is not true, it may come to you, but it will go right by you if you don’t take inspired action.

6th Hidden Law of Attraction: Law of Momentum

Once you start taking inspired action the law of momentum will increase your efforts exponentially. Don’t concern yourself with trying to change your life over night. 1 step of inspired action a day will create such a snowball of momentum that will be more than enough to bring you all of your desires and more.

The first 6 hidden laws of attraction are the Secret of Deliberate Creation; the final 5 laws are the Secret of Continued Deliberate Creation which is the next level. I’ll tell you all about the final 5 laws in my next article.

Want to harness the Law of Attraction to create the life you want, but can’t figure out what you’re doing wrong?

Click Here to Discover exactly how to use the Secret of Deliberate Creation to Attract Money and everything else you desire at http://www.lawofattractionkey.com

Article Source: http://www.articledashboard.com/Article/The-Hidden-Laws-of-Attraction-–-The-First-6-Laws---The-Secret-of-Deliberate-Creation/909549

free dating online
